Great!  That's what the attached patch does.  So please apply that patch
and then people can stop coming to this ticket saying that they couldn't
compile their extension modules until they applied the patch.

Also then the Solaris folks who build an installation of Python for
Solaris can remove the perl script that searches for "#define
_XOPEN_SOURCE" and replaces it with the empty string when building Python.
