Incorporated Tal Einat's alignment suggestion;
checked in as rev 1.7

It appears to me that the stopindent mechanism to terminate
processing a region is now redundant.  I can comment out
the 'break' in get_context()  [new name!] and everything
still seems to work ok.  Am I missing something?
