I was proposing that the Windows installation should have a folder where OpenSSL looks for certificates, and that users put trusted certificates into that folder. These should be the ones that set_default_verify_paths will use. Unfortunately, I don't know where that directory might be in the windows builds we provide. So I think we should find out.
