Why are bug reports being ignored? Are you guys busy? Do you need
help? There are a lot of people in the community who would love to
help you. Please ask us if you need help.

We're volunteers. There are a *lot* of bug reports. Some
of them are incorrect. It takes a lot of time to decide
whether a reported bug deserves fixing or not. You can help
by being patient and by adding useful information to other
bug reports (such as "confirmed on platform X.Y.Z" or "works
for me in Python 2.2", please with as much info as you can),
and by submitting patches to the patch manager (please add
an entry in the bug pointing to the patch and vice versa).
