Hi
I am using the latest version of python and IDLE, and when I edit a file and I press the key F5 it runs fine in the other window, while if I do it inside the IDLE command line it just prints the character  (which cannot be seen in the browser here). Using the menu to run works fine.

I'm sorry, the menu confused me. the command line has no such menu, it was showing the editor menu with the IDLE window on top. False alarm.
