Reviewing the changes for issue 20931, I noticed that I hadn't been keeping the PEP 453 What's New entry up to date with the changes during the beta/release candidate cycle.

There's probably still too much technical detail in the updated version that makes the situation sound more confusing that it really is, but it at least qualifies as "not wrong" now.
