There are at and below some errors in submodule names:
# taken from
# :
>>> from email.generator import Generator
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
ImportError: No module named generator
>>> from email.Generator import Generator

The same for email.Message, email.Header and, probably, others (they start with lowercase letters).

This is not a bug, you're looking at the docs for Python 2.5, and there the email submodules are accessible by lower case names too.
In the 2.4 docs there's still the old titlecased name.
