The IDLE version in 2.5b1 has been updated to IDLE
1.2b1

It should be a non-beta number by the time of release,
to avoid problems like we recently had with the
logging module, where is seems less stable than it is.

What is the bug you are reporting? idlever.py is always
changed in lockstep with the Python release version.

Closing; my mistake.

The fact that the first portion (1.2) didn't match made me
think it was a reimport of idlefork, or some such
externally maintained package.
