No, it's the lack of reviewers in the first place that is slowing all patches, not just this one. I'm skeptical about this patch. We already have BASECFLAGS, and blindly copying @CFLAGS@ into CFLAGS might break things if configure also decides to add the same or conflicting flags.

No, it's the lack of reviewers in the first place that is slowing all
patches, not just this one.

I'm skeptical about this patch. We already have BASECFLAGS, and blindly
copying  @CFLAGS@ into CFLAGS might break things if configure also
decides to add the same or conflicting flags.
