Jesse: thanks for doing the py3k merge. Antoine: yeah it might be safer to use _get_ident() but since the len(_active) == 1 assert is not firing we're probably fine as is. A change to this that I was considering making to this code has been attached as threading-874900-improvement-gps01.diff. -gps
