It's impossible for us to tell what's causing this without much more information, but could you first try switching to Python 3.10? Even if we figured it out, we wouldn't be fixing 3.7 at this stage.

If 3.10 still crashes, information about your OS, IDE, any packages you've installed, and any details you can find in Event Viewer (check the Application log) will be needed to track this down.
