I discovered that BitDefender somehow blocks part of the installation of Python 3.x on Windows, resulting in a completely broken installation. I found this after having turned my system inside out ... @!#$%^&^%$#@

So solving it is either:
   deinstall BitDefender
   exclude files from being marked as a virus

Maybe this can be mentioned on the install page?
