Yes, the logfile is indeed manually truncated. I could not 
upload the unmodified file which is greater than 2 Mbytes
Any suggestions how I can get the log file to you.

I was not using a SUBSTed drive. 

Python 2.4.1 installed fine on a similarly configured machine
but can not get past this bug.
