Oh, that wouldn't fix 'pydoc help', would it.  So there are probably two places where the special case has to be added, which means the code itself should go in pydoc and be called from _Helper.__call__ somehow.  (Note, I'm just throwing out ideas here, I haven't looked carefully at the code.)
