gcmodule.c lists a few reference links.

  http://www.arctrix.com/nas/python/gc/
  http://www.python.org/pipermail/python-dev/2000-March/003869.html
  http://www.python.org/pipermail/python-dev/2000-March/004010.html
  http://www.python.org/pipermail/python-dev/2000-March/004022.html

The last ones do not exist so they aren't very useful.

Thanks for the report.

If the python.org links can be found in the Internet Archive, then one could find the new addresses to use by looking for the same message on http://www.python.org/pipermail/python-dev/2000-March/

Would you be willing to try that?

LtWorf: What copy of the file are you looking at?

In

http://hg.python.org/cpython/file/84bc6998f760/Modules/gcmodule.c

I see different links, and the all work fine. They were changed in

http://hg.python.org/cpython/diff/d040a3b63df4/Modules/gcmodule.c

Closing the issue as fixed.
