Getting an error when running the configure script.

We're going to need some more information to reproduce this
problem.

What Python version is this with? If it's Python 2.3, can
you reproduce it with Python 2.4? If you can reproduce this
with 2.4, what exactly is the error you're seeing? Could you
attach the config.log file to give us more information?

This is not a bug.
The root cause of the errors in the submitted log file were due 
to an incomplete extraction of the tar file. Tar directory 
checksum error.
