You may have problems with inner list comps:  
[x+y for x in list1 for y in list2]

If you only have a single list comp, and LIST_APPEND didn't
pop the list off the stack, I think you could do:
          0 BUILD_LIST               0
          3 LOAD_FAST                0 (iter)
          6 GET_ITER
    >>    7 FOR_ITER                 7 (to 17)
         10 STORE_FAST               2 (elem)
         13 LIST_APPEND
         14 JUMP_ABSOLUTE            7
    >>   17 RETURN_VALUE
