Python 2.3 is not supported anymore. There are no bug fixes, even for security issues, so I’m afraid this error cannot be fixed. |

Python 2.7 and Python 3.1 are supported for bug fixes. |

Bug fixes also go into the development version, 3.2 (branch named py3k). (http://python.org/download/ tells what the stable versions are, but http://python.org/ does not clearly.) |
