While Num Lock is in use, if I hold Alt, type 234, then release Alt, Ω is supposed to be printed (and it is printed in most other programs).  If I try to do this in IDLE, however, IDLE will toggle its maximization along the y-axis and move the cursor to the beginning of the line, without printing anything.

Sorry, it may be a UTF-8 issue.  I would delete this, but I don't see a way to do so.
