I'm having trouble replicating the issue in simpler code snippets than the project code the issue first popped up in, which means the problem is probably my own code. For now, it looks like this was a false alarm, and I'm sorry for wasting anyone's time. I normally do more research on my own before submitting bugs, but at the time I hit the submit button I literally had 10 seconds of internet left, so I was a bit crunched for time.
